Introduction
The advance of the technology has been very long between a period and other. Thus, the industrialization and the science advance in the second world war has given a lot of new techology in all aspects, from the kitchen utensils to mas destruction weapons.
In the public management the techonology is very important, and in the present essay will describe the relation bewteen techonoly and public management in my career, explaining the importance of this element in 3 courses, State financial administration, Theory of the State, and Human Behavior, one of each main subjects with relation with my career.



Relation between technology and public management

The technology in the public management had a lot of relevance in this century. The develop of plans of the State for improve the level of technology in the public services are very important. This, in Theory of the State, have a lot of importance, because this brads one of the main differences between the types of States, from a State strong in the Bureaucracy ideas, very static, focused only in give a solution to the problems, with no consideration of the quality of the product, to a more flexible State, changing very often for give solution to the new needs of the citizen. For this, the technology have a lot of importance, for improve the process, the relation with the people for know their needs, and can give a service every time better. Thus, this situation is reflected in the administration of the State, specially in the Administration of finances of this. With more technology, the State can have better management of this resources, and with this, a better level of economic growth.
Finally, in the Human Behavior, the technology have a great importance in the moment to make more and better kinds of investigation. The different kind of tools that an investigator can have for make a investigation in this subject can make the difference between a good research and a excellent research. An Investigation center in econometric needs a lot of software for do it.

Conclusion.
The technology have a very important relation for improve the management in public subjects. This tools, when the State needs give the better service to the citizen, take more importance for know what the people needs, how, and when. And for this, an improve in the subjects in mention in this essay, will be result in a better service mainly, and a better kind of State for the society.

Post 11: Commenting the news

For me, the news story with the biggest impact this year isn’t the economic crisis, neither the classification of Chile to the soccer World Cup.
For me the death of a men is more important than all the things, and the most touching situation for all the people was the death of the king of pop; Michael Jackson.
He was probably the most know singer of all the story of music, only compared with stars as Elvis Presley and Madonna in the popularity, because he won a lot of platinum discs with his music.
When I watch this new story in TV, I see all the impact that to cause this fact. A lot of people crying and asking what had happened. And not only and USA or Europe; in America and Chile the news was the most important in the whole week of the incident.
This fact was happen something like this: Michael Jackson, after a lot of time estranged of the music, he prepared a shock comeback, with a tour for the entire world called “This is it”, witch was to welcome by his fans with a lot of emotion.
For prepare the show, the reporters informed that he prepared a great show, with a lot of resources spent, and a lot of effort of the people involucrate it, specially Michael. The tickets was sold in record time, and the speciation was higher when was annunciate new songs recorded.
But unexpectedly for all the people, the morning of June 25º, Michael had a cardiac arrest. Despite all efforts to revive him, he was declared dead at 2:26 pm.
Personally, this fact was very important, because with his dead, died a lot of history and dreams. He was one of the most important artists of music, not only for his talent, but his effort and spirit of better oneself. But he was prominent of the other singers because he always was a child. Innocent and dreamer, and with this, he able to create beautiful things, that with his music he inspired who heard him.
We always remember him, not only for his music, but the inspiration, and his innocent sense of life.

Post # 10: Challenges in your discipline

In my discipline, the public management, we have a lot of challenges to improve the current situation of the nation’s management. In this context, we have some challenges in different spheres of the society. For example, we have a great problematic in social matters; the current politics are not efficient to give solution to .the main troubles of the society, especially the poverty and the distribution of the incomes. For this situation, we need better politics for decrease this difference between the social group, and increase the participation of the citizen for make better plan of measures, focused in the need of particular cases.
In the technology, we have challenges for increase the present situation compared with the private sector. In this situation, we have a big disadvantage compared with this sector in the technology. They have in their private organizations a lot of resources for make a better job. For this, we are in a process of modernization of the State; where the government is improving this situation, using all this new kind of tools for make a better work. But we are still very far of the news technologies.
In the education, we have one of the most important challenges for the public management, especially for the State. The public education, mainly in third world countries, is very bad compared with the education in the private sector, talking about the basic en secondary school education. In these circumstances, the points obtained in the test of evaluation for enter to the universities are very unequal, when the public sector always have very lows averages. This is very bad, if we want finish with the differences in the society, and make it more equally in all aspects. For this, the State must do reforms in the education to improve the present situation. And for this, it must to know what are the main troubles to solve, and give a better education, which helps to eradicate this social separation.And finally, the State, in general must to give an incentive for the citizen participate in the take of decisions, because with only element, they have the real needs of the society, and with this, what solve first

Post # 9: Improving your faculty facilities.

In my faculty, the Government School of the Universidad de Chile we have a very particular situation. Our building is a national monument, with a lot of history, and very recognized. But with this, there is a problem: It’s very old, and with effects of the time, there is very damaged. And the technology is very old in comparison with other faculties, as the Economics faculty, that they have a lot of money spent in this kind of necessary resources.
In other field, we have some problems with the teachers. In several cases, they don’t have a good preparation for be a teacher of the Universidad de Chile, because not all are capacitating continually.
For me, these are the main fields that needs improvements for increase the added value. In this situation the first step for begin an improve in this situation, is create a general consent between the three stratums; the academicals, the functionaries, and the student, for generate common ideas about what we want.
Hence, I propose a change of place a bigger building. There are some projects for transfer this career to the Economics faculty, that for me, it’s very good, but not for all, because some people things that with this change we lost autonomy, that it’s truth, but is a price for pay.
The other can be solved with a change of academicals, emphasizing the quality of the teachers.
All this changes can have very good improvements, both the quality of the education as in the motivation of the students, because if they have more tolls for their needs, more added value can have.
The other steps are appreciate this changes, and use it for improve this situation, and for this, if we some day change of faculty, we can take care it, and use it for the common welfare.

Topic Nº 8: Free Time

In my free time, I usually try to use it in the proper way, because currently I’m very busy with the university. In fact, in the week, I don’t have more than 2 or 3 hours for doing other things with no relation with my studies, because I have to do a homework, study, prepare presentations, read a lot, and more. With this situation, I have the need to organize my time to do it all. For example, in the week, on Mondays I frequently go to practice karate. It’s very relaxing for me, because I can release all the stress of the routine and the life of Santiago. For me, the life in Santiago is very disgusting, because I have to coexist with a bad system of transport, and frequently, with very unpleasant people, that make things worse.
On Thursdays and Fridays, I try to meet with my band to practice our songs, but sadly now I can’t do it, because I don’t have time to listen to the songs in my songs. On Wednesdays I have a little of more free time, but frequently I use it for developing with my works. And now, with the use of the technology, all the people can do this kind of thins faster, but the great amount of things to do, not always I can end too fast.
And the other days, with my free time, I only try to relax, or just sleep, because with my routine, I always go to bed very late, and I don’t have a lot of time to sleep.
All this can sounds very sad, but this will be end very soon fortunately, since there is only one month of classes, and later, I will have three months of vacations.
With a little of more time, I would use it for rest a lot, not only sleeping, but travel to nice places with my friends, do a lot of sport, for example soccer with my family, or just talk with the people that I can’t do it often with no time. And finally, I would try to have a nice time for feel me better.

Inflation falls to lowest in five years


This article talks about the current situation of the United Kingdom economy, especially of one of the most important items in this matter; inflation.
It says that this indicator has fallen to the lowest rate in the last five years, and with it, the prices of the energy mainly.
An Organization called Office for National Statistics (ONS), dedicated to identify the changes of the economy and the main indicators of it, discovers that the CPI (Consumer Prices Index) dropped to 1.1% in September, compared with the same date of the last five years, fell from 1.6% to august. This circumstance is the lowest in the last five years.
This situation was because the electricity and the gas bills fell in their prices.
And with this, some people with relation of the matter talks about this situation.
Amit Kara, specialist in economics at UBS said that this situation coincides with the expansive monetary policy.
But the other opinions of this situation said that this is only temporal, and with the rise of the prices of other things, the CPI will increase again. For example, the petrol and the clothing are very unstable in their prices.
The complete price of the basket of goods and services with the intervention of the ONS stills with no change, because the rise of some things was compensated for the fell of others.
Finally, the British Chambers of Commerce said that the confidence of the economy is better, but with the actual crisis is still fragile.

The Post # 6: a world of sport

In my life, the sports are very important, because it’s an activity that makes me healthy and happy. When I’m doing some sport, in my case Karate, I can release all the stress of the daily routine. Thus, when people play any sport, for example soccer, this is very good for keeping a good health, and feeling better with themselves. For me, running must be a national level sport, because for people it’s very necessary to run for a while at least once per week, since that is a sport for which you don’t need anything for practicing it, and it helps a lot to prevent heart failures in the future. This activity can encourage other people with politics to promote sports. And with this, all people can realize that it’s important for them, and take conscience of it.
Chile, compared with others countries, is a very lazy country in these activities, for example, in Argentina there are a lot of sports , as stadiums, gyms, soccer and tennis courts, and a lot of possibilities to practice any sports. In Chile there is an absence of initiatives to promote
sport. In Chile, there is a sport called Rodeo a la Chilena that sometimes is very criticised, because it’s about catching a young bull that could be injured. For me, this activity is not a sport, but a traditional custom. Maybe with a few measures to take care of the animals we could keep this practice. But for me, the activity that for some people can be considered a sport, and for me must be eradicated, it’s the cockerel fights. In this activity, these animals are very injured, and in a lot of cases, they are killed. This is an insane activity that must be eliminated, and the people who practice it should be punished

Post # 5: WHAT TO DO & WHERE TO GO IN STGO

In Santiago there are a lot of things to do. Since it is the capital of Chile, it is a place when you can do a lot of fun things. You can go, for example, to Fantasilandia, an amusement park, where you can have a very nice moment. Thus, if you like to go to parties, you can go to Bellavista district. There are a lot of pubs and places of this kind.
If you are a foreigner, I recommend to visit the Plaza de Armas, a very nice place, with a lot of history. Of if you like to see natural places, you should go San Cristobal hill, where you can find very nice places, as a Japanese park, and a zoo, with a lot of diversity of animals.
You can go too to the national museum of arts, where you can find a lot of national art of outstanding Chileans painters.
A thing that you must do in Santiago is go to Farellones, a ice skating center, where you can learn to ski in snow, a very fun sport that I recommend a lot.
And of course, if you are a foreigner, you must take a wine route, as the Colchagua valley, a very nice place, where you can enjoy the best wine of Chile, and meet the culture of make it.
But if you like the sports, you should go to the Monumental Stadium David Arellano, the most modern stadium of Chile, of the soccer team Colo-Colo. It’s very nice.
Finally, if you like to go to concerts in Santiago, you must go to the National Stadium, where there are a lot of concert with a great variety of artist. You only have to see the entertainment guide, and look out the music that you like.

Post # 4: the role of music

The music in my life does a very important role, because for me, it’s one of the things that make me happy in the moments where I am sad.I’m not a very good singer, but I play the guitar since I was sixteen, and it’s one of the things that I enjoy the most.
I like to listen to a lot of kind of music, from 60’ rock, as Deep Purple, to pop, as Oasis, Coldplay, and more. But me beloved kind of music it’s de Heavy Metal and Hard Rock, as Gun’s n Roses, my favourite band, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Rage Against the Machine. But I listen to the Classical music too, because I went to a few classes with a music teacher, and I had to play with the guitar a lot a classical music, as Pacherbell, Mozart, Beethoven, and more.
I get the music from mainly from the internet, because it’s very easy to find what I need, or sometimes with friends, when the kind of music that I looking for it’s very exotic.
As I said, my favourite band is Gun’s n Roses, because I like principally the style of the guitar player of the band: Slash, a very good guitar player. When I am studying I listen to classical music, as Beethoven or Mozart, and when I’m happy I listen to hard rock music, as Guns ‘n Roses or Led Zepellin, something like that. But when I am a little sad I listen to heavy metal a lot, as Pantera, o Symphony X.
And finally, for me the music it’s very important because listen to all the time when a can, and it’s one of me most funny thing for me when I’m bored.

Post # 3: Transantiago, before and after

One of the critics of the system is the economical idea of give this service with the minimal cost for the State. This can be seen in the current subway. Now, especially in the morning because there are a lot of people trying to go on it, it’s very difficult travel on it.
The transport system of the buses now it’s very slow, in comparison with the Pre-Transantiago.
Thus, in the beginning the people had a lot of trouble for understand the new routes of the buses, and for this, they doesn’t know what travel use.
But, this new system has a lot of good things too. The buses are safer than before, because they have a lot of security system, as the speed limit of the drivers and the technologic system of the doors. When I used the buses in the anterior system, I had a lot of problems, because there are very dangerous, since the speed of the buses it was not limited as now. And the drivers of before sometimes were too angry people. Now the drivers are very handsome.
For me, the main trouble is that the Government takes a system of another place and they try to put it in a country with different culture and different kind of people of the original country, and they don’t take these variables before implanting it. For me, the solution is take this elements, and make a system that take the social factor as important. And with this, make new routes that can give solution of the traffic and the problems with the travels of the buses.

I would like to go to...

Personally, I really would like to go to Spain, because I like a lot of thing of this place. First, I like the music of the country, because always have good guitar players, as Paco de Lucía. He is the best flamengo guitar player in the world for me, and his talent is reveleated in a lot of challenges, where he won a lot of awards.
In Spain, I like the celebrations, as La tomatina, in Valencia, where all the people throw tomatoes to the others. It's very funny.
Thus, I would like to go to Spain, because I have a very old friend that I want to visit someday. When he was in Chile, we was very good friends, and for that I always remember him. He lives in Mallorca, so he can go to the stadium frecuentely.
From Spain, I know all the thing about their History and the relationship with Chile in this case. And I know that the cine it's very good in there, because there are a lot of important Directors, as Almodovar and Amenabar.

In Spain, I would like to go to a lot of parties, because in Spain there are the best parties in Europe, meet people and make a lot of friends. But mainly I would like to go to the most important stadium, as the Santiago Bernabeu, and the Camp Nou of the my favorite Spanish team, the Barcelona FC .
Someday, I have the idea to study in Spain, in the Universidad Ortega Y Gasset, where is one of the most important universities of Europe, and later, work as Diplomatic in this country, and obviusly live here, because there is a very nice country, with a lot of resources, and a lot of interesting things to do and learn! Always is good do new things in different places.
Definitelly I'll go someday to this country, when I finish my career.

First Term, good and bad points

In my Career, I'm learning a lot of things about the Public Management, specially about the features of the State and the rights and responsabilities of it with the society.
I have a great o variety with my courses, and many kind of them, and in this term, I had very interesting courses. I had Financial Accounting, Public Sector Economics, Human Behaviour, Organizational Design, a free course, that I toke Sports in the Gym, and Politic Sciences.
In this term, I learned to understand a lot of thing of the Economy of Chile, so now I can make a budget of an institution, and manage it.
Thus, with the course of Human Behaviour, I can understand the mind of the people in the organizations, and with this, do a better administration of the human capital, and make better relationships with them in the work. Whis this obviously, I can improve the results of the institution.
Finally, with Politics Sciences I learned to make an analysis of the political context of Chile and the World, and take the better decition between a important situation, as the conflict between Iran an USA, for example.

In this term, I toke a free course, called Fitness. It was very funny, and with this I maked a distraction of a little time of the hard courses. Thus, this helped for be healtly and and active.
And out of the university, I practiced Full Contact and Karate in my dojo, and with my sensei, I went to a tournament, where a won the third place between one houndred people.

In the future, my challenges are a lot. First of all, I'll finish my career, obviously, and later I want to study Laws in my same University, where I can validate some courses and I can finish it in only 2 years.
After this, I´ll take a magister, probably in Denmark.
